Learn moreThe most common mistake when approaching a design is putting the company at the centre, chasing what its own people like and the shortest path to conversion, when the decision is actually made by the user.
That is why our work starts before the first screen, by understanding what the business promises, who it competes with and who it speaks to, because that reading is what tells us which elements deserve to be on screen and which ones are in the way.
Larry Tesler, a pioneer of human-computer interaction, gave rise to what is known today as Tesler's Law: every system carries an inherent complexity that cannot be removed and the only question is who will have to deal with it. In our studio we know that businesses are complex and that there is a lot to tell, which is why we specialise in absorbing that complexity so the user's life gets easier.
In practice that means fewer steps, hierarchies that read without effort and pages that answer questions before the user has to ask them, so that the user stays at the centre of the strategy and the path to conversion stays clear.
